Hill’s Science Diet Pet Food joined forces with Global Pet Foods and raised more than $100,000 for pet related charities. They launched a week long campaign called “Show Us Your Heart”.
This week long campaign held in February 2011 invited pet consumers like you and me to donate money online or in stores or by PayPal. Global Pet Foods and Hill’s matched the first dollar of every donation made toward the campaign.
The joint campaign raised $100,400.97 which was almost double the amount raised in 2010.
Proceeds went to animal shelters selected by Global Pet Foods representatives.
Global Pet Foods is Canada’s largest chain of pet food stores. They specialize in organic and natural dog and cat foods along with pet supplements.
