Last month when I took our senior dog Mary Ann to the groomers I asked her to jump from the ground into the back of our SUV and she almost made it but slipped and fell backwards onto the ground on her back. The new Twistep is similar to a dog ramp but much more convenient. It is a platform that installs into your SUVs trailer hitch and can be swiveled out to allow easy access for your dog to step up into your vehicle. What we think is great is that it swivels out and when you are done you simply swivel it back under the vehicle and lock it into place out of the way. It’s much more convenient than lugging a big and heavy dog ramp everywhere with you. The dog ramp we have is actually heavier than our dog and quite bulky.
